Mrs. Howard has an extensive and successful background in Business Management with U.S Postal Service and UPS spanning over 15 years, where she served as a facilitator in areas such as Emergency Response and Preparedness, 

Emergency Incident Drills, Sexual Harassment Assault Rape Prevention (S.H.A.R.P.), Anger Management, Verbal De-Escalation Techniques, Crisis Management in the work place and Drug Abuse in the work place. 

As a Security Professional spanning over 8 years she is Co-founder and CEO of S.D. & Associates Private Detective Agency (117-001472) where the company specializes in Insurance Fraud, Criminal Investigations, Executive Protection, Background Checks, Corporate and Civil Investigations. 

Stanley K. Howard, Jr., President

Mr. Howard has over 30 years of successful business management with local government and companies such as the City of Chicago, Roadway Package Service, Fed X, Southwest Airlines, and Remedial Environmental Manpower where he managed the daily operation of up to 500 employees.

As a Security Professional spanning more than 15 years. Mr. Howard is a Co-Founder of S.D. & Associates, Inc. a Private Detective Agency (#117-001472) where his company specializes in Insurance Fraud, Criminal Investigations, Executive Protection, Background Checks, Corporate and Civil Investigations.

As a Project Manager, Mr. Howard has coordinated large events with the Mayor’s Office of Special Events, City of Chicago, supervising and training security personnel for such events as the Gospel Fest, Blues Fest, Jazz Fest, the world renowned Taste of Chicago, Viva of Chicago and the Chicago Air and Water Show. SDA currently provides armed and unarmed executive protection for a large Currency Exchange company through-out the City of Chicago.

Frederick Smith, Chief Compliance Officer

 Frederick Smith served in the US Army 1961 – 1973 with honorably discharged as Sergeant. He was employed by Rea Express as Working Forman supervising the expediting of freight from 1964 – 1973.

1968 – 1974 served as Minute Clerk for Circuit Court recording the minutes of the court files, assigning court dates and processing arrest warrants.  1973 1974 he worked for Cook County’ Adult Probation Department as a Probation Officer, responsible for the supervision of individuals placed on probation by the court.  During the period of 1974 -1977 he performed as a Civilian Investigator, investigating misconduct with excessive force of Police officers.

Mr. Smith joined the City of Chicago’s Police Department – Office of Professional Standards as Supervisor of Investigations, supervising and monitoring investigations of Police Officer’s misconduct, specifically allegations of excessive force and was given a promotion.

He attended Kendall College, Evanston, Il in the Criminal Justice Program as Coordinator and Instructor from 2000 – 2003; Chicago Board of Education as substitute teacher/mentor; 2006 – present  with the Community Mental Health Council of Chicago as a Specialist for Victim Service Care.

Frederick Smith was awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1992; Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 1995; employed as Sheriff of Cook County Police Academy and received a Certificate from the City of Chicago Management Institute.

 Bennie Watson Jr., Instructor/Senior Investigator

From January 30, 1991 – July 18, 2007, Bennie Watson Jr.  joined the Chicago Police Department as a Police Officer, keeping order, detecting crime and crime prevention, retiring on July 18, 2007. 

May 2004 -November 09, 2006, he continued active duty in U.S. Army Reserves, as Senior Intelligence Analyst, collecting, analyzing and dissemination of Intelligence Information during Operation Iraq Freedom, assigned to Defense Intelligence Agency MIO-3, Washington, D.C.

In 1983-2004 he served in the United States Army Reserve as Senior Intelligence Analyst 96B4F, collecting, analyzing and dissemination of Information.  He was trained in Psychological Warfare at J.F. Kennedy, Special Warfare Centre, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina in 1984, with clearance: TSB.  On July 17, 2004, he retired with 30 years military service.  

Bennie Watson Jr., served as a Correctional Officer from 1978-1990 for the Cook County Department of Corrections in detention/supervision of inmates. 

From 1977-1978 Bennie was employed at the Veterans Administration Westside Hospital, Chicago, IL. As X-ray Technologist/Supervisor taking radiographs of human bodies and supervising daily Operations.

Bennie, was Medical Corpsman and X-ray Technologist in the United States Army from 1962-1967.

Clarence L. Perry, Vice President, CBS Security Agency

Mr. Perry has an extensive and successful background in law enforcement and as a security professional spanning over 30 years.

Before joining CBS Security, Inc. as Vice President of Operations he has served as Chicago Operations Manager for the Wackenhut Corporation, a global 2 billion dollar a year security firm with over 20,000 employees. He had responsibility for all Chicago and Northwest Indiana business of the Corporation.

Mr. Perry also served as Vice President and Director of Corporate Security for Bell Federal Bank until their merger with LaSalle Bank in 1997. While there Mr. Perry had primary responsibility for internal and external investigations, and physical security operations relating to the Bank.

 Mr. Perry is also currently a security consultant to a number of security organizations and private corporations.  

 Mr. Perry is a member of numerous professional associations including: the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), Illinois State’s Attorney African-American Advisory Council, and Association of Financial Crime Investigators (AFCI). He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Turning Point Outreach Program based in Denver, Colorado.


Louis Phillips, Great Lakes Federal Police Officer, Tactical Instructor

Mr. Phillips has served in law enforcement for more than 22 years as a patrol specialist, firearms instructor and tactical expert in lethal and less than lethal techniques. He has served as a senior federal police officer with the Great Lakes Naval Training Center Police Department in North Chicago, Illinois for the past 7 years. He also serves as President of PTC Security Training Academy, a private security and detective agency specializing in private security and government use of force training techniques for the security and law enforcement industries.

Before joining the Great Lakes Police Department, Mr. Phillips served as an Illinois Reserve and Auxiliary Police Officer from 1999 through 2005 advancing through the patrol and training divisions while developing firearms range master skills along the way.

Mr. Phillips holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Daley Community College and participated in more than 20 professional law enforcement and security related training courses. He carries instructor certifications in FBI Firearms, NRA Firearms, Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board, PPCT Defensive Tactics, Arrest, Control Tactics, ASP and Monadnock Advance Police Baton.

Mr. Phillips also holds black belts in Sho-Ran-Rye, Hakkoryu Ju-Jitsu and Judo. He has professional affiliations and memberships with the International Association of Police Trainers, International Association of Law Enforcement Firearm Instructors, American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers, American Federation of Police and the Police Marksman Association.


 Donald Burns, Attorney at Law

Mr. Burns attended the University of Illinois, graduating in 1977 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. He attended law school at IIT-Kent College of Law, graduating in 1980 with a Juris Doctorate degree.  Mr. Burns began his career at the law firm of Brown & Pinto, becoming a partner in 1986.  

In 1992, he was offered a partnership at the law firm of Pinto, Burnes & Libman, and in 1998 the firm became Burnes & Libman.  The law office of  Burnes & Libman is a general practice and personal injury specialists.
